Enter a Bible reference in the Passage field. The following formats are supported:

You can use a comma, colon or period between chapter and verse. For ranges, use a hyphen or en dash.
You can use English abbreviations (Gen, Exo, Mat, Rev ...) or Slovenian ones (Mt, 1 Mz, Ps, Jn, Apd ...). Abbreviations are not sensitive to spaces (1Ki = 1 Ki).
You can also select a book by clicking its abbreviation in the sidebar, then choose the chapter by clicking its number.
Word search
Enter one or more words in the Search field. The search is case-insensitive and works without diacritics (č, š, ž).

Parallel translation display
Select multiple translations by clicking abbreviations in the row below the search field. The text is displayed in parallel columns with aligned verses.
Up to 6 or more translations are supported simultaneously. With more columns, the sidebar navigation hides automatically.

- Compact — verses are joined into continuous text (suitable for printing)
- Headings — show/hide section headings (e.g. "Beatitudes", "Sermon on the Mount")
Search settings
- Search in — select a translation to search in, or "All translations" to search across all
- Results — 20, 50, 100, 500 or all results per page
- Concordance — shows only the context around the found word (instead of the full verse)
Found words are highlighted in the results.
Interface languages
The interface is available in six languages: Slovenian, English, French, Spanish, Catalan and Basque. Select the language from the dropdown menu in the upper right corner.
Sharing links
Every page has a permanent URL that you can copy and share. Old URLs with biblija.cgi continue to work.

Special markings in text
- Lord — God's name is displayed in red small caps
- * — an asterisk marks a footnote; click it to view its content
- Poetic texts (psalms, prophecies) are displayed with indentation
- Section headings are shown above the corresponding verses
